TentCraft recently refreshed a trade show booth forThe Michigan State Parks division of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
The agency needed a modular booth that was inviting, interactive, and able to convey lots of information about Michigan's 100-plus State Parks. It also had to be flexible to fit the exhibition space available to them, which varies from show to show.
The State Parks team told us booth visitors love to talk about their favorite parks and get recommendations for new places to visit. They often found themselves pulling out a Michigan State Park map during conversations, so we added one to a retractable banner positioned at the front of the booth.
Previously, the agency used an 8-foot table with a table cover that displayed the Michigan DNR logo, but realized it stopped visitors from entering the booth.
By switching to a mightyTABLE, the team could still accommodate two staff members and store promotional materials inside. Now, they could step out from behind the table to point out locations on the map or showcase park photos on the SEG wall. The DNR logo remained visible on a custom printed floor decal and prominently placed on the mightyTABLE.
Visitors entering the booth walked under an 8x10 arched media wall of trees created printed with images taken by DNR staff.
We replaced their standard backdrop featuring a single park photo with a custom printed SEG wall. They chose photos from state parks across Michigan, highlighting a variety of park experiences.
The booth design brought the essence of the outdoors to trade shows and conventions across Michigan and beyond.
