How Electrolit Built a Versatile, Standout Sampling Activation with TentCraft
Electrolit’s activation strategy is designed to get their product into the right people’s hands, at the right time.
That means targeting events where hydration is a major component of the experience - making various sporting events (tournaments, marathons, etc.) or other outdoor events where endurance matters like music festivals and concerts clear campaign destinations.
So the answer is just take a branded pop-up tent on the road and activate, right?
Not quite.
The Challenge
Ask any experienced event pro and they’ll tell you that marathons, festivals, and big sports marketing moments come with their own unique hurdles when you’re trying to capture attention and move foot traffic into your branded space.
First and perhaps most importantly, they tend to be high energy environments where the feeling of your branding and the size & shape of your structures can play a significant role in impressing eyes.
Second, not every ideal outdoor event allows you the same luxury of a large footprint space. This makes modularity vital to accommodating different layouts, crowd flows, and space constraints.
And third, the infrastructure needs to make event day easier for your team to execute. That means a few things:
-
It’s easy enough to travel with and ship the branded assets to different locations around the country
-
That setup and teardown is something a small team can handle on their own and is relatively quick to be deployed without needing tools
-
It’s specifically designed to facilitate crowd flow and product samples
The TentCraft & Electrolit Solutions
It helps when you get to work with ambitious, experienced event teams like Electrolit’s. They came with vision and they trusted us to design a booth that matched their needs.
We developed a modular system built to overcome the above challenges - focusing on scale, adaptability, and operational efficiency.
At the center of the setup is a 12’ x 20’ L-shaped truss structure with custom branded soft goods, creating a bold, highly visible anchor that defines the space and draws people in.
This pairs seamlessly by framing a 10’ x 10’ MONARCHSTOREFRONT. The footprint adds a more approachable, service-oriented touchpoint for customer interaction and sampling.
Unlike a standard pop-up canopy, the MONARCHSTOREFRONT is designed to feel more like a permanent structure than a temporary setup. With a defined front-facing branding marquee, it creates clear visibility for attendees, helping guide traffic, frame the brand experience, and give staff a more structured space to operate within. For Electrolit, that meant a cleaner, more intentional sampling interaction that could handle volume without feeling chaotic.
Custom counters that attach directly to the pop-up tents frame are integrated throughout the space to streamline product distribution & display – keeping lines moving while also allowing for products to remain visible throughout the event.
And rigid signage as well as branded shade umbrellas were used as small flourishes to reinforce messaging and visibility from multiple angles.
Together, these elements form a cohesive yet unique system – not a one-size-fits-all setup, but a flexible, branded kit of event structures that can be reconfigured based on the event needs. For some stops along the campaign, the full setup can be deployed. For others, Electrolit might forego the truss while bringing the umbrellas and the pop-up tents.
Over the last couple of months, as you'll see in the photos, they've expanded into standalone media walls, mightyTABLEs and other branded pop-up tents like the standard peak. We’re excited to continue working with this team as they order more of these setups for their distributed event teams across the US!
