Breaking Down MONARCHTENT vs. mightyTENT
These specifications break down the main differences between our medium-duty and heavy-duty pop-up tents.
Tent Height
When it comes to standing out at events, height matters.
The heavy-duty MONARCHTENT features a peak of 11’ 10”, which is the tallest in the industry. The total height can be as tall as 17’2” when you install a peak flag, which allows event attendees to see your tent from far away with ease.
mightyTENT tops out at 11’4”, which is no slouch when it comes to peak heights. But there’s no option for a peak flag, which can really help a tent stand out.
Tent Weight
A 10x10 MONARCHTENT with the canopy weighs in at 78lbs., which is an adequate weight for a single person to transport (with included wheel kit) and set up on their own. When properly anchored, the weight of MONARCHTENT allows it to withstand winds of up to 35 mph.
The 10x10 medium-duty mightyTENT weighs in at about 65lbs, making it slightly easier to transport. When properly ballasted, mightyTENT can withstand normal winds, but it does not come with a certified wind rating.
Material
MONARCHTENT is an all-aluminum framework, including the connectors, for ultimate durability. The aluminum we build our frames with is anodized, which makes the oxide layer nearly as hard as diamond. (You can learn more about why we use aluminum over steel over here).
mightyTENT also uses anodized aluminum for its frames, but we reduce costs by using engineered glass-filled nylon plastic connectors.
Leg Design & Diameter
The legs of MONARCHTENT feature an octagonal profile and a diameter of 2 inches. That’s a pretty beefy leg that grips its surface area better than the competition.
mightyTENT features a similar profile — it actually is made using the internal leg of MONARCHTENT, so it’s only ever-so-slightly smaller in diameter.
Super-Strong Custom Canopies
MONARCHTENT and mightyTENT share one major element: They use our proprietary fabric, Duranti, specifically designed for rugged outdoor use. This canopy material is specifically tested for professional-grade tensile strength, so you don’t need to worry about water pooling and destroying your canopy.
We customize our canopies using the dye-sublimation method of printing, meaning the ink literally becomes part of the fabric. In return, you don’t need to worry about your logo and art cracking or peeling.
Designs, Sizes, and Layout: MONARCHTENT vs. mightyTENT
One of the biggest differentiators between MONARCHTENT and mightyTENT is the collection of design possibilities that you can create with our heavy-duty tent.
In addition to the traditional peaked canopy design of MONARCHTENT, you have access to a collection of six other designs, including a gable, flat roof, and storefront. These types of tents stand out in a crowd and differentiate your brand in a sea of bland tents.
mightyTENT is still an excellent option for those who simply need a traditional canopy tent, but we also offer mightyTENT with a flat roof option, which is perfect for use indoors where there may be height restrictions.
